Spring 2023 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The Springtime of Youth Music Festival hosted Amine as the headliner for the eighth year. Supporting acts include Grouplove, Faye Webster and more. 

Spring 2022 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The seventh annual Springtime of Youth music festival took place in Bud Walton Arena with Dominic Fike headlining. The additional artists were Princess Nokia, San Holo, and Between Friends.

Spring 2021 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The sixth annual Springtime of Youth music festival held a virtual event with sets performed by AJR, Lil Yachty, T-Pain, Remi Wolf, and PVRIS.

Spring 2019 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

For the fifth annual Springtime of Youth music festival, the headliner was Kesha. Additional artists were Pusha T, Smallpools, Merles, and Witchsister.

Spring 2018 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The fourth annual Springtime of Youth music festival lineup consisted of Gallantis, Bleachers, Lil Dicky, Ville, and Elephantom.

Spring 2017 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The third annual Springtime of Youth music festival hosted a lineup with the headliner being Big Sean and supporting artists being Young The Giant, Whether, and Caitlyn Smith.

Spring 2016 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

The second annual Springtime of Youth music festival was held Saturday, April 30, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The headliner artist was Diplo. Additional artists included BØRNS, Kevin Gates, Moxie Raia, Brother Moses, and Trey O’Dell. Tickets Sold Out.

Spring 2015 – Springtime of Youth Music Festival

Headliner Concerts Committee presents Springtime of Youth Music Festival, a two-day event with a total of 7 artists performing. On Friday, April 17, the artists were Viceroy, Priory, Mutemath, and Misterwives. On Saturday, April 18, the artists were Moon Taxi, Wet, and Wiz Khalifa. The inspiration for the name “Springtime of Youth” comes from the second verse of the University of Arkansas’ Alma Mater. The Headliner Concerts Committee planned the Springtime of Youth Music Festival the entire academic year in hopes that it will become an University of Arkansas tradition. May 1, 2014 – The Head and the Heart and Matisyahu

The Head and the Heart are a folk-rock band from Seattle formed in the summer of 2009. They record on the Sub-Pop label.  Matisyahu (“Gift of God”), is an American reggae rapper and alternative rock musician known for blending Orthodox Jewish themes with reggae, rock and hip hop beat boxing sounds.

November 7, 2013 – Mac Miller

Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick is a Pittsburgh, Pa., native whose independently released debut album Blue Slide Park debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2011. Miller’s latest album is titled “Watching Movies With The Sound Off.”

May 2, 2013 – Kip Moore

Kip Moore is an up-and-coming country sensation, signed to Universal Music Group. He is from Tifton, Ga. and his style was influenced by Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Kris Kristofferson. He moved to Nashville after a brief stint in Hawaii, when a good friend encouraged him to take up songwriting full time.  Moore’s raw and rustic voice combines with compelling lyrics to create a unique sound that’s simultaneously hypnotic and edgy.

November 4, 2012 – Flaming Lips

According to the band’s website, “The Flaming Lips are an American rock band, formed in Norman, Oklahoma in 1983. Melodically, their sound contains lush, multi-layered, psychedelic rock arrangements, but lyrically their compositions show elements of space rock. They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne’s signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience. In 2002, Q magazine named The Flaming Lips one of the ‘50 Bands to See Before You Die’.”

April 29, 2012 – Kid Cudi/Chip tha Ripper/Big Boi

Kid Cudi is an American alternative hip-hop recording artist, singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor from Cleveland based in Brooklyn. He first gained major attention after the release of his debut mix tape A Kid Named Cudi. His career took off after he moved to Brooklyn and became affiliated with Fool’s Gold, the label of DJs A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. The label released the Day ‘n’ Nite EP in February 2008 and circulated a Crookers remix around the blogosphere, drumming up a good deal of buzz in the process.

April 30, 2011 – Blake Shelton

This past year, Blake Shelton was named the Country Music Association’s “Male Vocalist of the Year,” scored three consecutive No. 1 singles, performed at sold-out shows on his first headlining tour, and had his first No. 1 album, All About Tonight. His single Honey Bee sold over 138,000 digital copies in its debut week, a feat unmatched by any country male soloist to date. Shelton is also a coach on NBC’s The Voice. His CD, Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton, debuted in the Top 10 on the Country Charts.

October 8, 2010 – Snoop Dog

April 7, 2010 – Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley released his self-titled debut album in 2003, and the album’s single, “What Was I Thinkin’?” topped the country charts. His 2005 effort,Modern Day Drifter, also went platinum. Bentley became the youngest member of the Grand Ole Opry when he was inducted on October 1, 2005m and that year, he won the CMA Horizon Award. His first DVD, The Dierks Bentley Experience, was filmed in 2006.

November 17, 2009 – Third Eye Blind

San Francisco-based group Third Eye Blind scored its first hit in 1997 with its debut single “Semi-Charmed Life.” They built upon that success throughout the following three years, releasing a number of successful singles including “How’s It Going to Be” and “Jumper.” After taking a break during the early 2000s, the band returned in 2009 with its fourth studio album, Ursa Major. Emotional, reflective, aggressive and sometimes outwardly political, Ursa Major features some of the most intense music of Third Eye Blind’s career

February 25, 2009 – T.I.

Since 2001, T.I., also known as Clifford “Tip” Harris, has become one of the most revered and successful artists in his genre, racking up millions in album sales and a myriad of awards, among them two Grammys. In fact, T.I. has been nominated for four Grammys, including Best Rap Album for his album Paper Trail.

October 6, 2008 – OAR

O.A.R., short for Of A Revolution, formed in 1996 and has since sold more than a million albums. Their videos have been featured on VH1 and MTV, and their latest studio album is titled “All Sides.” That album’s first single “Shattered” has been featured on the television show One Tree Hill. This general admission show will also feature opening act Jonathan Tyler and Northern Lights.

February 29, 2008 – Foo Fighters

American rock band Foo Fighters was formed by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994 in Seattle. The group has won 10 Grammy awards.

February 1, 2007 – John Mayer

In 2000 John Mayer signed with the Aware record label, which released the album Room for Squares (2001). The song “Your Body Is a Wonderland” earned him a Grammy. In 2003 his song “Daughters,” won two more Grammy Awards. Having established himself in alternative rock, he broadened the scope of his sound, forming the John Mayer Trio and incorporating his long-standing interest in the blues.
